For cabinet makers & joiners

Run your cabinet shop
from quote to install.

FactoryMate is the job and production layer for cabinet makers. It tracks every job across the office, the bench and the install — and works alongside the design and cut-list tools you already use. Start this week, no ERP project.

Cabinets don’t get lost in the machine.
They get lost between people.

Quotes in one inbox, the cut list on a whiteboard, the install in a group chat. A job stalls because the bench didn’t know the deposit landed, or the installer turns up without the hardware. FactoryMate puts the whole job — office, bench and install — in one place, with a record of every step.

How it works

Every cabinet job, one lifecycle.

From the quote to the customer’s signature on site. Office, bench and installer each see exactly the work that belongs to them.

01Quoted

Quote sent

Customer, job type — kitchen, wardrobe, vanity, commercial fitout — style, site address and target date. Drawings and references attached to the job.

02Approved

Approved & deposit

Design signed off, deposit in, sheet stock and hardware ordered. The job can’t hit the bench until the checks are ticked — no half-ready jobs jamming the saw.

03In production

On the bench

The maker picks it up on a wall tablet. Status moves through Cut → Edge → Assemble → Spray → QA — every stage logged, so the office sees progress without walking out.

04Ready

Bench sign-off

The maker signs off finished units into one audited record. The job locks and hands to the office — any change needs an unlock, and every request is recorded.

05Scheduled

Install scheduled

The office plans the install run and assigns the crew. The job flips to scheduled and the installer gets the stop in planned order.

06Installed

Installed & signed off

On site the installer captures photos, a customer signature and any defects. The job closes with the evidence attached. Done.

Built for the whole shop

Three views. One job.

The office never sees the bench’s mess. The bench never carries the office’s spreadsheets. The installer gets a phone, a list and a signature.

Office

The job board for the shop

Filter by stage, customer or target date. See deposits, plan the install run, approve bench unlock requests — the whole shop at a glance.

Bench

A tablet on the wall

The maker signs in with a PIN tied to the shop tablet — no shared passwords. Tick off Cut, Edge, Assemble, Spray and QA, mark up shop drawings, sign off the day’s work in seconds.

Installer

A phone, a run, a signature

Today’s installs in planned order. Tap a job, open maps, drive. On site: photos, a customer signature, a defect list — all attached to the job, even with no signal.

Why cabinet makers

Made to fit a small shop.

Works with your design tools

Keep your design, cut-list and CNC software. FactoryMate runs the jobs around them — it doesn’t replace the bit you already rely on.

Not an ERP project

The big manufacturing systems take months and cost a fortune to roll out. FactoryMate gives a small shop the job and production tracking without the project.

Every action audited

Who moved a job, when, on which device — recorded. When a customer queries a finish or a date, you have the answer.

Australian-built

Made for AU shops, run and supported from Australia. When you talk to FactoryMate, you talk to the people who build it.

Where it fits

It runs the job, not the design.

Most software a cabinet shop touches does one of three things. FactoryMate is the missing middle — the layer that keeps the actual job moving.

Design & CNC tools

Draw it, cut it, machine it

Design software and cut-list / CNC tools handle the cabinets themselves. FactoryMate sits alongside them — it doesn’t replace them.

Full manufacturing ERPs

Powerful, heavy, pricey

Enterprise ERPs can run a whole factory — but they’re a long rollout and a big spend. Overkill for a small shop that just needs the job tracked.

FAQ

Cabinet-shop questions.

Does FactoryMate replace my cabinet design software?
No. FactoryMate runs the job — quoting, the production stages on the bench, and the install — and works alongside the design and cut-list software you already use. Your design tool still does the design, cut optimisation and CNC output; FactoryMate keeps the whole job moving and recorded.
Is it built for small cabinet shops?
Yes. It’s designed so a small shop can start in days, not a month-long ERP rollout. You get the job board, the bench tablet and install sign-off without a six-figure system to set up.
Does it handle cut lists and CNC?
FactoryMate tracks the job through cutting, edging, assembly and finishing, and the cutting bay sees its list on a tablet. The cut optimisation and CNC output stay in your design software — FactoryMate runs the workflow around it.
Can installers use it on a phone?
Yes. The installer gets today’s installs in planned order on a phone, opens maps, and on site captures photos, a customer signature and any defects — all attached to the job.
How much does it cost?
Pricing is tailored to your shop — team size and how much of the lifecycle you use. Tell us about your shop and we’ll put together a straight number. Contact us for pricing.
Is my data safe, and where is it hosted?
Every shop runs on its own isolated tenant with its own database and storage, every action is recorded in a full audit log, and it’s built, run and supported from Australia.
